Everything about creating an account, what’s free, and how the optional VIP plan works.
Is HotNoStringsDating free to join?
Yes. A free account lets you build a full profile, browse the community, save favourites and start conversations. No credit card is required at signup, and there is no hidden charge during onboarding.
What does the VIP plan include?
VIP membership costs between $5 and $15 per month depending on the plan length. It unlocks unlimited messaging, advanced filters, priority human support and an extended incognito timer. The free plan remains usable indefinitely without it.
How old do I need to be to register?
HotNoStringsDating is an 18+ only platform. Registration requires a date-of-birth confirmation, and any profile flagged as underage is removed within hours and the account closed permanently.
Can I use the platform from outside the United States?
Yes. Most of our members are in the United States, but the platform is available worldwide in English. Local laws around adult-oriented services apply; the site is blocked in jurisdictions where it cannot legally operate.
How do I cancel a paid plan?
You can cancel VIP at any time inside Account Settings under Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, your profile remains active, and no further charges are made. There are no cancellation fees.

What does anonymous dating mean on HotNoStringsDating?
Anonymous dating means you can register with a pseudonym, hide your profile from public search engines, and reveal photos only to members you choose. Your real name, full date of birth and exact location are never displayed on your profile.
Do you sell my data to advertisers or third parties?
No. The platform is funded by member subscriptions, not advertising. We never sell personal data, never share message content with third parties, and only retain account data for as long as your profile exists.
Are messages encrypted?
Yes. Direct messages are protected with end-to-end encryption in every region where the law permits it. In jurisdictions with stricter requirements, we use transport encryption and minimise retention windows instead. Details are listed on the Safety & Privacy page.
Do women actually care about penis size?
According to multiple peer-reviewed surveys, most women rank emotional connection, hygiene, communication and confidence above size. A 2019 review in The Journal of Sexual Medicine reported that fewer than one in five women rated size as a primary factor in long-term satisfaction.
What happens if I delete my account?
Account deletion is final. Within 30 days your profile, photos, message history and verification data are removed from active systems. Anonymised billing records may be retained where US tax law requires it, with no link to your dating identity.
03 — Profiles
Profiles and verification
What goes on a profile, what stays private, and how the optional verified badge works.
Do I have to disclose anatomy on my profile?
No. Profile fields never ask for measurements, and you are free to leave the topic out entirely. Many members mention it in their bio as a way to filter for partners who genuinely accept them, but it is always optional.
How does photo verification work?
You take a short video selfie matching a pose shown on screen. A human reviewer compares it to your profile photos within 24 hours and adds a verified badge if they match. The selfie is then deleted and never displayed on your profile.
Can I lock my photos so only matches can see them?
Yes. Every photo has three visibility levels: public, members-only and private album. Private albums are unlocked one viewer at a time, can be revoked at any moment and never appear in search previews or notifications.
Is there micropenis support inside the community?
Yes. Members with diagnosed micropenis are welcome and well represented. Our Small Penis Men category and the Male Body Positivity essay collection are written with their experience in mind, and our moderators are briefed to flag any shaming language.
04 — Chat
Chat and messaging
How conversations start, slow down and stay consent-first.
What does SPH mean in texting?
SPH stands for Small Penis Humiliation, a consensual kink some adults explore. On HotNoStringsDating, SPH conversations are only welcome inside the opt-in Small Penis Fetish category and only between matched, consenting members. The wider platform tone is acceptance, not humiliation.
Can I message anyone, or only matches?
Free accounts can send a limited number of intro messages per day to anyone whose visibility allows it. VIP removes that limit. Recipients can mute, archive or report any conversation in one tap, and unanswered messages disappear from inboxes after 14 days.
How do I report a bad message?
Tap the three-dot menu on any conversation and select Report. You choose the reason — harassment, shaming, spam, underage suspicion — and a human moderator reviews the case within 24 hours. The reported member is not told who reported them.
Are chat rooms group-based or one-to-one?
The main chat experience is one-to-one. Topic rooms exist inside the Small Penis Chat and Small Penis Club categories for group conversation, but they are read-only until you accept the community rules on entry.
05 — Community
Community rules and tone
Why the platform reads more like a magazine than a meat market — and what stays out of it.
What is the house tone here?
The house tone is editorial: calm, curious, respectful. We use clinical or neutral terminology where it helps, plain English everywhere else, and we avoid the gamified ranking language that dominates most mainstream dating apps.
What kind of behaviour gets a profile banned?
Body shaming, unsolicited critique of anatomy, harassment after a clear no, sharing private photos without consent, underage activity and any form of paid sexual solicitation will lead to permanent removal. Moderators do not negotiate on these categories.
Are kink and fetish discussions allowed everywhere?
No. Kink content lives inside the Small Penis Fetish category and only between members who have explicitly opted in. Outside that space, the conversation defaults to mainstream dating tone, and unsolicited fetish messages are treated as a rule breach.
Do you allow couples and non-binary members?
Yes. Couples seeking respectful, non-exploitative connections are welcome, as are non-binary and trans members. Our profile fields support multiple gender identities and pronouns, and our community standards apply identically to everyone.

I did not receive my confirmation email.
Check your spam and promotions folders for a message from [email protected]. If nothing arrives within ten minutes, request a new confirmation from the login screen. Persistent issues are almost always blocked corporate email filters; a personal address fixes it.
I forgot my password.
Use the Forgot password link on the login screen. A reset email arrives within two minutes and is valid for one hour. If you registered with a pseudonym and no longer have access to that inbox, contact support and we will guide you through identity recovery without revealing your dating identity.
A photo I uploaded was rejected. Why?
Photos are reviewed against three rules: the face must be visible, the image must be a real photograph rather than a graphic, and no contact details, watermarks or sexual content are allowed in the public gallery. Resubmitting a different angle usually resolves it.
